Resolve Legal Solutions focuses on three primary areas: representing children with special needs, defending the environment and protecting consumers.

Gabriela M. Torres is the founder of Resolve Legal Solutions. She is a native of San Diego and was born and raised on 20th and Imperial in Sherman Heights, San Diego.

Gabriela received a B.S. in International Business from the University of San Francisco, an undergraduate institution that focuses heavily on social justice and community. She graduated from California Western School of law and spent her first years out of law school working for a dispute resolution firm in Madrid, Spain working primarily on commercial matters before various arbitration tribunals in Madrid, London, Geneva and New York. She then moved to London where she opened a boutique practice and continued to focus on dispute resolution before completing a Masters of Law in International Environmental Law and Sustainability at Kingston University London. She wrote a dissertation on the impact of CEQA on California's environment.
Upon returning to San Diego, after a decade in Europe, Gabriela opened Resolve Legal Solutions, combining her passion for helping children with special needs and protecting the environment.

Gabriela helps parents, including those with limited or no English capabilities, to challenge school failures in the provision of special education services and consistently secures compensatory education for students. Gabriela also advises communities on environmental issues, from land development to significant state sponsored environmental enhancement projects.

Gabriela is the Policy Coordinator for the No Border Sewage Committee at Surfrider Foundation in San Diego.

She is fluent in Spanish.
